Jacob's Ladder Summer '08: "Going from Good to Great"
A mixing pot of talent and energy from faculty, staff, and students made summer '08 one of "Going from Good to Great".

Products from the Classroms, Art studio, Computer lab, exceeded expectation. Morning classes included: Math, Writing and Publishing, Service as a Lifestyle, Foreign language (French and Spanish), Storytelling/ Public speaking, Art, Forensics, Science, WWII and more. Structure, stability, and security combined with fine leadership allowed Climbers' natural talents to blossom.

The hikes to Sharp Top Mountain, the daily exercise & recreation program plus swim lessons led to toned up younsters. And, there was no TV during the whole camp session. Daily morning chapel time and evening reflection/devotions provided time for singing, praise and thankful meditation. Every person at Jacob's Ladder Camp grew in body, mind and spirit. "When going from good to great you not only change your actions, but you also change your character. Your whole mindset begins to change," quote from 2008 senior Climber, April.
