University of Richmond partners with Jacob's Ladder
On August 10th, University of Richmond Senior Associate Director of Admissions, W. Steve Wilborn, announced that UR would enter into a partnership with Jacob's Ladder, Inc.
While lauding the success of Jacob's Ladder in identifying, serving and mentoring gifted disadvantaged students who are considered at-risk, Wilborn was also impressed with the placement record of Jacob's Ladder students in selective colleges and universities.
As a partner organization, Jacob's Ladder participants will recieve benefits including assistance from the University in college application and financial aid planning, a waiver of the application fee, and a financial aid package up to 100 percent.
